The Stichting Museum 1940-1945 was founded in 1986 with the aim of maintaining a resistance museum relating to the events in the War Days period 1940-1945, especially in the Dordrecht region. A large collection of weapons, uniforms and items of use from the War Days form the basis for presenting this to the visitor. An overview is also given of the origin and course of the Second World War. In addition, there is an extensive collection of books and reference works, as well as an extensive collection of footage. This can be viewed in a small cinema on request.
