Museum Rijswijk

Museum Rijswijk is located in a beautiful townhouse in the middle of Rijswijk's old town. Here the poet Tollens (1780-1856) lived here, making the property known as the Tollenshuis. The museum has a large collection of paintings, prints, drawings and photographs. The halls in the historic area provide shelter for exhibitions about the Rijswijk heritage. The spaces in the new building area provide a stage for a wide range of temporary exhibitions of paper, textiles, ceramics and glassware. In the evenings, Papier Biënnale takes place in the evenings, in the odd years the Textile Biënnale provides an international and topical overview.

In the museum is the Study Room where you will find information about the cultural heritage of Rijswijk. The museum regularly organizes guided tours, lectures and workshops for young and old.

The atmospheric atmosphere is ideal for receptions, receptions and is also a wedding venue.
