Oststadt Theater

Since 1990 the Oststadt Theater has been providing entertainment in Mannheim. With his great comedy repertoire, Mannheim's largest unsubsidised theater delights young and old. Mannheim's cheerful stage not only embodies the versatility of the people in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan area, not only because of its large selection of pieces: Besides its own productions, which are sometimes performed in dialect, the program also lives through many great guest performances.

In addition to the regular schedule, the Oststadt Theater offers the possibility to organize customer events, galas and celebrations. Make people laugh and enchant: The Oststadt Theater has been doing this for over 20 years out of conviction and enthusiasm.

The Oststadt Theater had its seat in the kahnweiler hall of the Kunsthalle until the end of April 2014, but had to vacate it due to the demolition of the Kunsthalle.

Since May 2014, the Oststadt Theater is now at home in the town house N1, with a larger stage, a larger theater hall and a new bar area.
