Parco Valle del Lanza

The Valley of Lanza Park is a protected area of ​​interest supra that develops around the valley of the stream Lanza, who was born on the Monte San Giorgio in Ticino (CH) and flows in Malnate (Varese-ITALY) in the Olona River. Along the banks there are several sites of historical and industrial archaeological interest.

Extends in Bizzarone municipalities, Cagno, Malnate, Rodero Valmorea, between the provinces of Varese and Como.

It is characterized by wetlands, rural buildings, churches and buildings of cultural interest, a rich fauna and old quarries Molera. In the park of the railway passes Valmorea (linking mendrisio in Switzerland with Castellanza) today the railway is in operation for tourism from Mendrisio to Malnate.
