Our mission is to promote knowledge, creation, recreation and the permanent appropriation of the cultural heritage and the collective memory of the country, to contribute to the construction of identities and the development of the people and the national community and their international insertion. The above implies rescuing, conserving, investigating and disseminating the national heritage, considered in its broadest sense.
