Teatro Pan

For over 38 years Lugano is the permanent seat of the activities of the Pan Theatre Company, which has become an important artistic and cultural realities of the city, able to create synergies that grow with the methodologies of the base of the party core artists, enriched by the experience of collaborators from different countries. Actors, directors and writers meet to create numerous theatrical and educational projects on universal themes such as racism, solidarity and respect for the environment, offering children and young people of different emancipatory stimuli. The main feature is to address, as always, to the young and the very young, trying in any case to go beyond the boundaries of age groups and therefore also involve the older audience.

The Pan Theatre was invited in national and international festivals in Switzerland, Italy, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Germany, Russia, Romania and others.

The Pan Theatre organizes the annual FIT International Theatre Festival, the show "Without Borders, young and old together on stage" and the festival for early childhood "The Beetle". In addition, regularly it offers shows for schools at the Teatro Foce di Lugano and is available for performances in all school locations of the Canton Ticino for students who do not have the opportunity to go to the theater.
