Teatteri Jurkka

Finland's only professional dining theater, Theater Jurkka, has been in the same room in Helsinki's Kruununhaa since 1954.

Jurka's stage is small, but expanding as necessary as the universe. It has been when the creature was in the outer archipelago when a luxurious living room in Westend; it has been such a modern office as the world of Peer Gynt or Hamlet.

Sweat cures on the scene as well as in the theater, the magic of the theater can breathe, it can feel on its skin, bones and kernels. The sounds of the street become part of the performances, the audience live the delights and sorrows of performances in the same space with the actors more concretely than in the theaters in general. The theater in Jurkka is always in close proximity and every spectator is in the front seat.

Office / ticket office open weekdays Mon-Fri 12-16 On performances / days, Jurka's cupboard opens one hour before the performance.
