The traveling theater / the traveling theater The THEATER CARNIVORE is based on the appearance of the tradition of the circus. The seating consists of colorful beer benches with backrests. Logo and lettering are nostalgic, the name exotic. Star of the vehicle fleet (after all 8.4t permissible total weight) is the historic fire truck, after a sports car classic in the same color affectionately called "Robin". The Mannheim sculptor and stage designer Motz Tietze has specially made a steel folding stage, which can set up a man in a short time. The concept is based on the historic traveling stages, as they were common from antiquity to the 19th century. The traveling theater THEATER CARNIVORE revives an almost lost tradition. It is probably the only professional traveling theater in the German-speaking world. Of course, today's stage is something different than it used to be. There is a theater in a place where no theater otherwise takes place. It is played in the open air. The venues have their own atmosphere. They seduce you to make your way to the unknown. Lust and intoxication, leaving the normal conditions are part of the Dionysian concept of the traveling theater. It was not for nothing that the same god was responsible for the wine and the theater among the Greeks. In addition to sociability, Dionysus is also responsible for the satire and the untamed Wilde.
