Villa Augustus

The approximately 1.5 hectare site of the former drinking water company in Dordrecht was transformed in 2006 into a large vegetable garden. There is also an Italian garden, an orchard and an ornamental garden.

Two monumental buildings stand in the middle of the kitchen garden. The water tower from 1882 is now a hotel with a total of 37 rooms. In the pump building from 1942 there are now the 200-seat restaurant and the market-café.

The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu follows the seasons. We mainly work with organic products, from the garden, on your plate!

In the bakery, sourdough breads, tarts and biscuits are baked. Afternoon tea is served daily.

In the hotel there are rooms with beautiful views and rooms in the garden. All with wonderful beds. Because of the relaxed and homely atmosphere of the hotel, you immediately feel at home. As if you are staying with friends!
