Weltkulturen Museum

The Weltkulturen Museum in Frankfurt am Main, founded in 1904, is a research museum with a unique collection of 67,000 artifacts from all parts of the world.

Housed in three Gründerzeit villas on the banks of the Frankfurter Museumsufer, the museum produces public exhibitions, grants scientists, writers and visual artists innovative research contracts and develops innovative educational concepts.

In addition to the "classic" exhibition, the museum is entering new territory in the 2012 exhibition year: selected international artists and fashion designers are preparing exhibitions in the house, in which the centuries-old artifacts will be interpreted in a contemporary way.

The visitors are cordially invited to creatively deal with global issues under the guidance of museum curators and international guests.

In the exhibition year 2012, the Museum enters new conceptual ground next to its "classic" exhibition operations: "Selected International Artists and Fashion Designers Exhibit Exhibitions".

With the guidance of the museum curators and international guests, the visitors are invited to delve into global questions.
