XL was an art space located in Kaisaniemi, Helsinki. The focus was on exhibition activities, where the essence was not media or size, but the content of art. XL was an arena of experimental art, which also became a stage of performance and discussion.
The space is coordinated by independent curators Toni Ledentsa, Christine Langinauer, Helena Björk, Jussi Koitela and Saara Hannus.
XL worked with Indian Summer. In the Indian Summer concept, vintage clothing and creations by independent designers combine with occasional DJ sets and live shows, and with XL in contemporary art.
