Welcome to the Café of the WDR-Funkhaus! The stylish café in the heart of the city center of Cologne shines freshly renovated in new splendor. Close to the cathedral, not far from Cologne main station, we pamper guests from all over the world every day.

Those who like to have breakfast here will find an ideal place to start the day. From a quick city breakfast to an extensive brunch - there is something for everyone. When the weather is nice, a cozy place in front of the café with a view of the top of the Cologne Cathedral is recommended. At noon, the Funkhaus is the perfect location for a lunch with salads, soups and small dishes. In addition to hearty meals, including a wide selection of vegetarian dishes, you can also enjoy our classic coffees and delicious cakes. In the evening, the Funkhaus turns into a modern bar that leaves nothing to be desired - whether you want to eat something before or after the concert, toast with a glass of wine or just enjoy a cocktail with friends at the bar.

The proximity to the WDR not only shows the location, but also the program. On a small stage in the dining room, the WDR organizes readings, concerts and talks that are broadcast live on the radio. Large transmission monitors allow a direct link to the broadcasting halls on special occasions.
