Glumačka Družina Histrion

The acting company 'Histrion' was founded on 11 July 1975 in Zagreb. The fellowship is fundamental with the idea of ​​approaching and transmitting theatrical thought and recent theatrical production and in the smallest place of Our Beautiful and without exaggeration, but later, embodying this idea, becoming an enlightener in the contemporary.

He teaches his faithful audience mostly about Croatian culture, writers, painters, musicians, history, opportunities, language, and then to the world culture, working the works of the greatest models of theatrical history and through the special, one prism, places them on Croatian occasions and concrete contexts taken from Croatian history and reality. Throughout the year, she created her identity, and in the theatrical terminology of our geographic areas she embellished the term 'histrionisation' as now synonyms for the folk theater, spiced with satire, fun and special poetics of laughter as a folk medicine for all the diseases and wounds they carry everyday life.

She founded her, and she is still art director, actor, director and producer, Zlatko Vitez. From the founding of today to the present, he has set the 60 prime ministers, which he then performed several thousand times throughout Croatia, all the republics of the former state and several other states of Europe and America ...

By the year 1985, Histrioni were (with bracer Ljubomena) a sailing and traveling theater, and since 1986, in Opatovina, the Histrion Summer Project was launched in Zagreb. Apart from restoring historical buildings (the Prišlin's tower and the old town rampart shared by Grič from Kaptol), his authors continue to spend his holy mission and sleep in Zagreb, every year, again, showing his grooms printed from the pearls of his greatest hope, caring for his values ​​and nurturing kajkavština as an expression of his being, pronounced in gestures and grimaces of the Croatian theater scene champions.

Always close to politics and often in conflict with it, the Histrionians had so often often had problems because of the thoughts and representations presented. And while remaining faithful to the Homeland, in the toughest times they took part in her defense and, after the liberation of the Republic of Croatia, participated in many humanitarian actions, especially in favor of children of Croatian defenders.

Additionally, it is worth adding that they are also worthy of raising the monument to Marija Juric Zagorki and re-popularizing her works, which are especially proud of.
