The Return of Kinoteka, the cinema we love   The most popular Zagreb Cinematheque Cinema in Kordunska 1, with its repertoire of generations of film-makers, returned after the full 12-year break to a series of city events.   Kinoteka occupies an indelible place in the hearts of the generations of Zagreb, as well as in the chronicles of Zagreb's cultural scene, and it is happy to remember all those who loved a good movie. During the 70's and 80's Kinoteka was one of the favorite crowds of city audiences. It was the time when Zagreb was rich in cinemas, and going to the small, quartet cinema was a usual fun and social ritual.   The reopening of the Cinematheque has awakened nostalgia with many people - some recalled childhood and youth, their first movie or kissing with projector sounds, while others recalled memories of old Zagreb expressions such as "tapkaroš" or "kartodrapec". a few audiences have been given an interesting venue for a good film release that has been spotted by the many stories here told over the years.   The return of one of the closed, but never forgotten cinemas further enriched the film offer outside the commercial distribution as well as the wider cultural offer of Zagreb, and the original purpose of the hall was preserved as part of the residential complex in Kordunska built in 1939/1940. the year of the last century according to the design of the famous architect of Zagreb, Marijan Haberle.   The Cinematheque program is based on reviving what Kinoteka was in the past, when the generations were synonymous with the place of a good movie. Particular attention is paid to the presentation of film classics, and the repertoire also includes documentaries and recent European and world movie titles. There will also be program surprises such as displaying TV content in the cinema, binge viewing series. So their place in Kinoteca can be found by all generations - old and new audiences, neighbors and tourists, lovers of art-films and film-classics, but also those who are fond of certain film genres or authors.

With the planned thorough refinement to be made, visitors to Kinoteka have a unique opportunity to watch valuable movie titles in the original ambience of the cinema with retro camouflage.
