Golfclub Castrop-Rauxel e.V. in Frohlinde

The GC Castrop-Rauxel e. V. was founded in 1987.

As early as 2004, the extension to the 27-hole system took place. Last year, the 25th anniversary was celebrated with a jubilee week. The attraction for every golfer on the circuit lies not least in the architectural, landscape and play tactical character of a golf course. On the Frohlinder fairways the player is led to three very differently designed courses A / B / C. The varied and green hilly landscape offers an impressive view over much of the eastern Ruhr area and rewards the golfer with visual diversity. From the tracks C3 / C4 you have the view of the stadium of Borussia Dortmund ... Fans of other football clubs like to look at the small white golf ball.

The sporty demanding facility has already been selected several times by the German Golf Association (DGV) for hosting national golf championships.

Most recently, the 2012 German Girls Championships took place here.

The 2005 newly built, modern clubhouse impresses with its spacious terrace. From there, there is a fantastic view over the grounds of the C course with its nine attractive fairways. Due to the terrace orientation to the south, with a view to the "Wollental", sunbathing after the round is possible.

The gastronomy area offers the right ambience for celebrations and events ... an enrichment for club life and tournaments.

The golf club Castrop-Rauxel e.V. was awarded the seal of approval "Golf and Nature" in 2010 by the German Golf Association.
