History of Mar Y Sol!

 Our house has tradition - not only in Cologne. But please read for yourself:

 The founder Miguel Gallinat is originally from the heart of Spain - Andalusia. Already at an early age his heart belonged to Spain and the hospitality. He completed training as a chef and as a bartender before he came to Germany in 1983.

 He hired on a cruise ship to expand his skills internationally. Already in 1992 he became salon chief. Again and again, however, he moved to his homeland as well as to Gran Canaria.

 In order to bring the people of Germany closer to Spanish hospitality and cuisine, Miguel Gallinat opened his first economy in Aschaffenburg. Here he was visited in 1997 as part of a state reception by the Spanish King Juan Carlos.

 In 2004, the Gallinat family moved back to Cologne and so the "Mar Y Sol" was founded. In the family business brother and sister Gallinat work in the kitchen and the rest of the family ties take care of the guests.  Special highlights from the beginning are the events at Mar Y Sol. This should be brought to the guest not only the cuisine of Spain but also the lifestyle.

History of the Mar Y Sol! Our house has tradition - not only in Cologne. But please read it for yourself: The founder Miguel Gallinat originally comes from the heart of Spain - from Andalusia. Already on early childhood belonged to Spain and hospitality. He trained as a chef and as a bartender before he came to Germany in 1983.

To expand its capabilities internationally, he hired on a cruise ship. In 1992 he became chief salon. Again and again he was drawn to his homeland as well as to Gran Canaria. Gallinat Miguel opened his first business in Aschaffenburg.

Here is what he had visited in 1997. In 2004, the family moved back to Cologne Gallinat and so what the "Mar Y Sol" was founded. Brother and sister in the family Gallinat employees in the kitchen and the rest of the family takes care of the guests. Specific highlights from the beginning are the events at the Mar Y Sol.

In this way, the host should not only be placed near the kitchen of Spain but also the lifestyle.
