Musée de la Haute Meuse préhistorique

Integrated in the enchanting setting of a listed architectural ensemble, including the Old Farm (17th century), the castle called the Priory (16th century) and the Saint-Pierre church, the Musée archéologique de Godinne offers exhibitions every year to discover the prehistoric remains discovered in the rocky massifs of Chauvaux-Godinne and around. Always very educational, these exhibitions situate the remains in their climatic, biological and cultural context. In addition, the antiquity of the first excavation site undertaken in Chauvaux makes it possible to make the public perceive the evolution of archeology since the mid-nineteenth century, when this science was still in its infancy, to the present day.
