Speeltuin Park Braband

In 2008, Park Braband, the large park between the Hekelingseweg and the Gaard, created a large playground. The playground is intended for children from 4 to 12 years old.

The playground is part of the large-scale sport and game facilities (including facilities for the elderly youth) that has a lot to offer to the target group from Spijkenisse. The entrance is at the cycle path at the Meeldijk / Gaard / Vineyard.

Many students from neighboring elementary schools have contributed to the design. They take into account their wishes, such as many climbing and climbing options, a cable car and a nursery castle. It is a playground where not only the devices but also nature and the added natural elements play an important role. The trees cut for the plant are found as a climbing element. Big pebbles can be used as a table or clogging leak. During and after rain between two of the three playing hills can be played in the mud. There are also willow wams, natural willows of willows and a willow tunnel.
