Vernadsky State Geological Museum

State Geological Museum. V.I. Vernadsky of the RAS is the oldest scientific, educational and educational center in Moscow. The main activities of the Museum are research in the field of earth sciences and environmental management, preservation and management of museum collections, exhibition activities, vocational guidance in the specialties of mining and geology, oil and gas and metallurgy, conducting thematic excursions, workshops, popular science lectures, master classes, competitions, scientific conferences and seminars. Services are provided for the examination and diagnosis of precious metals, precious and semi-precious stones, minerals and products from them. The Museum has a souvenir shop and a cafe.

Vernadsky State Russian Academy of Sciences is the oldest center of geoscience and education in Moscow. The Museum is involved in geological mining, and ecological researches. Scheduled and special excursions are available. There are lectures, scientific meetings, exhibitions and entertainment in the Museum’s program.
