Flame Towers
Flame Towers are the most prominent symbol of the city, which contain three skyscrapers. The name “Flame” comes from the shape that the buildings demonstrate. Another interesting fact about the Towers is its LED luminaire, which demonstrates different pictures on them. Flame Towers are used for various purposes such as residence, hotel and offices. One of the eminent hotels of the world – Fairmont Baku is located in one of the Towers. In addition, the Tower that is used as offices has a cinema as well, where you can enjoy various movies in variety of languages (Azeri, Russian and English).
Heydar Aliyev Center
Heydar Aliyev Center is the most extra-ordinary building of the city that became one of the symbols of Baku. It is an excellent model of modern architecture, which has been created so far not only in Azerbaijan, but also in the world. The center named after Heydar Aliyev who was one of the most esteemed persons of Azerbaijan history. He was the person that brought independence and welfare to the country. Therefore, exterior design of the building was referred to the signature of Heydar Aliyev. Moreover, the center was designed by the worldwide well-known architecture Zaha Hadid. Today, Heydar Aliyev Center is considered as a multifunctional complex, as it contains a conference hall, a gallery and a museum. Besides spectacular exterior and interior design, the complex has a remarkable landscape meanwhile.
