From the simplest ones like an apple pie or a pie with curd, Lithuanian desserts culture now is more oriented towards the French or Italian cuisines. So, here, I will spoil you with a choice of places where you can find modern European style desserts and places with the most traditional desserts like the homemade pies and cakes. Oh, my, this cozy, small and a lovely spot is exactly like your grandma’s kitchen with a smell of just-baked apple pie. Pilies Kepyklėlė

And for the end - a place with a design of the medieval times - Pilies Kepyklėlė (The bakery of the castle). With the most popular cakes in town “Cheery” and “Royal.” Definitely worth trying. A small bakery is located in the Pilies street, which is always crowded by tourists and souvenirs shops. But that bakery locals love as well, and the prices there are reasonable. During the summer, when the terrace is open, you can make a lovely date with a picturesque view of the surroundings of the Pilies street.
