Cyprus is the third biggest island in the Mediterranean Sea, located in the south of Turkey. This amazing island stands out with its gorgeous nature, rich history, luxurious holiday resorts and of course, with its one of the bluest sea in the World! This island not just offers you its amazing sea because you can also go scuba diving to check out the beautiful sea life, you can go windsurfing, jetskiing, waterskiing and also sail along the coastline! If that is not enough, you can also do paragliding, explore the beauty of the island with boat tours, hike and go trekking in the mountains of the Kyrenia/Girne and even golfing is possible in here! During the summer season, you can enjoy the music festivals with the local and international bands, folk dance and modern dance shows and even classical music concerts! If you are so done with human interaction (we have all been there), you can always hang out with the cute Caretta turtles in the sea! If you want to try your luck, you can enjoy your time at many famous casinos in here! So if you want to visit this magnificent island, here is your guide!

The first stop should be the pearl of the Mediterranean; Kyrenia Harbor and Castle. Kyrenia or in Turkish, Girne, has the most picturesque view with its pier, harbor that hosts lots of boats that anchored and of course the view of breathtakingly beautiful Beşparmak Mountains! Not only you can enjoy this beautiful view in here but also you can enjoy the local restaurants and bars. The best thing to do in here for me is, having a nice dinner while watching the sunset over the Mediterranean sea, tasting the local cuisine and drink the local light, fruity and palatable wine of Cyprus! Of course, don't forget to order grilled halloumi or hellim cheese as starters! Before enjoying the sunset, you can also explore the 16th-century Kyrenia/Girne castle overseeing the harbor which was originally built in the 7th Century by the Byzantines! After visiting the castle, you also have to check out the Shipwreck Museum!
