Once you visit Georgia, you will understand why this country is a magnet for everybody who traveled there at least once. It is a country with hospitable people, great cuisine and very rich nature, a country that will absolutely blow your mind.

Geographically, Georgia is located in the Asia, but we prefer to say that our country is somewhere in the middle between the Europe and the Asia.

Wherever you go in Georgia, you will see mountains everywhere. The feeling that you are a child of nature will never leave you while traveling this country as it has rich nature full of greenery, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and fresh air. There are many grape yards especially in the Kakheti region, that’s why everybody counts Georgia as a birthplace of wines. We love guests very much because for us they are considered as blessings from God. That’s why nobody will ever ask you to remove your shoes when you enter their house, since your comfort is on the first place for them.

Tbilisi, the capital, combines an old and a new modern part that create very beautiful contrasts. No wonder that we call it “the city of contrasts”. Tourists find old part more attractive. While admiring the ancient history of this territory, visitors will also see a new modern bridge of “peace.” Symbolically, this bridge means the way from past to future and it really connects old and new part of the city to each other.

Georgia is very religion-friendly country. Apart from Georgian churches, you can find here Russian & Armenian orthodox churches, as well as catholic cathedrals, several mosques and even Jewish community served by two synagogues in Tbilisi.

When it comes to activities, Georgia offers many of them for any type of traveler. If you are a history lover you can visit Narikala Fortress, Mtskheta, Gergeti Trinty Church and check the remains of castles from even first centuries. Also, you can see cave town in Uplitsikhe which dates back to the early Iron Age. If you are an adventure seeker, you can enjoy hiking, horse-riding, paragliding, rafting and etc. One secret: In Georgia, you can ski even during summertime! There are snowy mountains during whole year in Svaneti Region. That’s why this small country is a place, where nothing is impossible!
