Morzine, a place to live
November 2017. Like they say “Winter is coming”. It doesn’t scare me anymore. I settled in Morzine, Haute-Savoie, France for the season. Now I have two goals: enjoy the ski area of les Portes du Soleil as much as I can, and share my discoveries with you! Avoriaz, Essert-Romand, Montriond, Morzine, Saint-Jean-d’Aulps, … They are just next door, waiting for us.
After an intense raid in Scandinavia, I had to find a place to stay for the cold times. For more than a year I had this obsession: spend a season in a ski resort. Here it is: the Alps will be my home for the next few months.

The ski resort is ready for the season to start. It has snowed for days and let me tell you something: fresh powder for Christmas was all I could ask for! Let’s hope the dreamy weather will last.
My plans? Ride as much as possible of course! But not only… I want to enjoy the mountains in many ways. I want to walk, snowshoe hike, cross-country ski and more if I can. Treat myself with hot chocolates, nice pizzas, delicious traditional meals, cocktails and parties.
I found a job. I found accommodation. I found a snowboard. I found co-workers, housemates, locals and seasonal workers. I found friends. I’m ready!
